MRI Dynamic Shim Amplifier
2000 VA (100V – 20A) switching power amplifiers specialized for MRG shim systems are being developed. AC/DC power supplies (2kW) with power factor correction are also produced in order to be used in development. The systems are designed to be modular, highly efficient and to be able control the current in the inductive windings (<2mH) sensitively (12 bit) with feedback.
MRI Compatible Projector
In order to increase patient comfort during MRI, videos will be projected into the MRI device for the first time in the world. In order to achieve this, projectors, power supplies, driver circuits, etc. electronic parts of the projector will be isolated and become MR compatible in terms of Electromagnetic interference (EMI) and magnetic forces. Afterwards, video processing will be done and videos will be projected to the cylindrical surface inside an MR device without pixel deformation.
